Mr Sean Hughes MB BS, MSc (Orth Eng), FRCS (Tr & Orth) qualified from King's College Hospital Medical School, London in l995.

He was trained in London, Sussex and Surrey, culminating in Trauma and Upper Limb fellowships in New Zealand and Guildford, before taking up his Consultant appointment at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford.


Mr Hughes specialises in upper limb conditions and general musculoskeletal trauma.

MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering - University of Wales.

Published in academic journals.

Faculty Member of the Damage Control Orthopaedic Trauma surgery course at the Royal College of Surgeons, London.

He has served with the Royal Navy as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeon.


Mr Hughes can arrange  URGENT appointments for fractures or injuries. You may need further investigations (x-rays / CT / MRI / Ultrasound) and it is wise to clear this with your insurers before attending. For self-pay: costs can be provided for consultations and investigations.
